Le syndrome fémoro-patellaire (SFP) est très bien connu dans le monde médical. C’est une atteinte fréquente qui constituerait environ 40% des consultations médicales pour les douleurs aux genoux (Khajuria 2017).
Bien que ce syndrome guérisse généralement bien, quelques facteurs peuvent supposer une atteinte qui durerait plus longtemps (Natri 1998):
